Two Individuals Accused In Connection With Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Incident

Two individuals are now facing charges related to a luggage theft where a substance thought to be capsaicin spray led to people being hurt at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their luggage taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, police said.

A young child was among those injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – which authorities stated was a standalone event and not considered a terror-related act – resulted in train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
