Alarming Recording Reveals Instant Police Are Stabbed in Ambush
A senior officer who jumped to the assistance of a colleague who was ambushed by a knifeman received the King's Commendation for Courage.
Sgt Tim Ansell fought with 27-yr-old Jacob Brown subsequent to he placed a weapon to the neck of his fellow officer Sgt Marc Foster.

Sgt Ansell can be heard to say: "I need help on my neck now, I'm bleeding in the neck."
Sgt Ansell sustained multiple lacerations to his neck and more wounds to his arms and torso, whereas Sergeant Foster suffered slash wounds.
The department said Sergeant Foster utilized his palms to control his fellow officer's bleeding prior to emergency responders came.
The latest honor comes subsequent to the trio of policemen were granted internal Courage Honors in October 2023 and the police federation award from the local officer association in spring 2024.
They additionally received a Area Bravery Award in July 2024.
