These sketches and watercolour studies will then be developed in the studio, with participants producing multiple abstract landscapes in acrylic paint to be shown in the village. The group has sole use of the venue, which is centered on an open courtyard and has a sun terrace with views over the hills. Hip Hop Don’t Stop is an energizing, inclusive weekend dance intensive for adults in High Wycombe. St Ives is the excellent setting for a sea shanty weekend. Guests will be taught traditional shanties from a folk singer and vocal coach, and try their hand at composing original ones. Writer and lecturer Greg Mosse runs the regular sessions on this writing retreat.
